Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2007

The Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2007 contains the legal framework for aviation in the Territories and for Territory-registered aircraft.  It supports the Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements (OTARs) which contain the detailed means of compliance with the Order.

Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2007 - consolidated version

ASSI has produced a consolidated version of the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2007 which incorporates the Amendment Orders.  To keep the size manageable, the Schedules to the Order - which contain among other things the Rules of the Air Regulations and the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations - are shown separately.

This version will be kept up-to-date as any further Amendments Orders are adopted.  It is not however the authoritative text and Courts of Law will refer only to the Queen's Printer's edition of the Statutory Instruments published on the UK Government legislation website.  Links to these Statutory Instruments are available above.

We have also produced this summary of approvals, certificates, licences, permissions etc which may be required under the Order, together with references to the OTAR Parts which contain the detailed requirements for granting them.
