Anguilla, British Virgin Islands and Montserrat only

Applications for the initial issue or reissue of flight crew validation certificates for Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and Montserrat should be made directly to Air Safety Support International on one of the following form:

All applications should be made following the procedures laid out in OTAC 61-4 (Issue of a Certificate of Validation). Please note that for initial issue, an examination in Air Law will need to be successfully completed.

Information on how to apply for an Air Law Exam is only provided to candidates once:

1.    A correctly completed flight crew validation certificate application form (supported by a UK Overseas Territory operator) has been submitted; and
2.    All relevant documentation in support of the application has been submitted; and
3.    Verification of the licence has been received from the State of Licence Issue.

Supporting documentation for the certificate issue and reissue is explained in OTAC 61-4 and listed on the relevant application form.  Please note that the supporting documents submitted must have a validity period to ensure that they are current at the time of issue or reissue of the Certificate of Validation.


Apply for the Initial issue or renewal of Flight Examiner Authorisation

Anguilla, British Virgin Islands and Montserrat only

Applications for the initial issue or renewal of flight examiner authorisations for Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and Montserrat should be made directly to Air Safety Support International on the following form:

All applications should be made following the procedures laid out in OTAC 61-5 (Flight Examiner Authorisations for Commercial Air Transport Operations).


Apply for the Renewal/Variation of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC)

Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Falkland Islands, Montserrat and St Helena only

Applications for the renewal or variation of an Air Operator Certificate should be made directly to Air Safety Support International on the following form:

All renewal applications should be made at least 28 days prior to the expiry date of the current AOC.


Applicants in other Overseas Territories should contact the Overseas Territory Aviation Authority (OTAA) in that Territory.
