GENERAL
Overseas Territories Aviation Circulars are issued to provide advice, guidance and information on standards, practices and procedures necessary to support Overseas Territory Aviation Requirements. They are not in themselves law but may amplify a provision of the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order or provide practical guidance on meeting a requirement contained in the Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements.
PURPOSE
This Overseas Territories Aviation Circular provides guidance on the implications of leasing by Territory operators of foreign-registered aircraft for Commercial Air Transport or aerial work operations and of operations by Territory AOC holders on behalf of a foreign operator.
RELATED REQUIREMENTS
This Circular relates to OTAR Parts 61, 119, 121, and 135.
CHANGE INFORMATION
Second issue. New paragraph 6 to add requirements for continuing airworthiness for the dry lease-in of an aircraft registered in a third country and the wet lease-in of an aircraft from a third country Operator. Definitions of “Wet” and “Dry” lease amended.
