Maintenance Programme
Aircraft granted a certificate of airworthiness shall be maintained in accordance with an OTAA approved maintenance programme. Each applicant for the approval of a maintenance programme shall apply to the OTAA for approval.

- Application Form AIR011b - Amendment of an Aircraft Maintenance Programme .
Bridging check
When transferring an aircraft between maintenance programmes, the transfer should be carried out in a controlled manner. A 'bridging check' is not in itself a maintenance package, but the result of a detailed analysis of the aircraft maintenance history in relation to the Maintenance Programme the aircraft is to be placed under.

Nominated post holder/Technical coordinator
AOC holders - Shall appoint a post holder who will be responsible for the continued airworthiness management of the operator's aircraft.
Non AOC holders - Shall appoint a Technical Co-ordinator who will ensure that appropriate arrangements for continued airworthiness management are in place.
The application form associated with this allows the OTAA to document the experience and competence of the individual accepted under the OTAR Part 39 Approval process.

Organisations that undertake continued airworthiness management of aircraft registered in the Territory shall hold an appropriate approval.

I need to complete and submit the following form:
Maintenance Control Manual (MCM)
The Maintenance Control Manual forms the basis for the OTAR Part 39 Continued Airworthiness Management Approval and is subject to approval by the OTAA.

- OTAC 39-2 - Continued Airworthiness Management Approval & Approval of the Maintenance Control Manual - Link 16.
I need to complete the following tasks:
- Complete the compliance checklist in Appendix B of OTAC 39-2 - Continued Airworthiness Management Approval & Approval of the Maintenance Control Manual - Link 17.
- Submit the MCM to the OTAA for approval.
Maintenance Contracts
There needs to be a Principal Contract between the operator and the maintenance organisation.

- Submit a signed copy of the principal contract to the OTAA.

ASSI has published a set of Airworthiness Application Forms allowing an applicant to complete and submit a form more effectively and without the aid of ASSI staff, through the ASSI website.
