Overseas Territories Aviation Circulars are issued to provide advice, guidance and information on standards, practices and procedures necessary to support Overseas Territory Aviation Requirements. They are not in themselves law but may amplify a provision of the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order or provide practical guidance on meeting a requirement contained in the Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements.

PURPOSE

This Circular provides information and guidance on meeting the requirements in OTAR Part 39 Subpart F for continued airworthiness management of Territory-registered aircraft operated under an ICAO Article 83bis agreement with another contracting state.

RELATED REQUIREMENTS

This Circular relates primarily to OTAR Part 39 but also deals with meeting the requirements in OTAR Parts 13, 21, 43 and 145 as they apply to aircraft subject to Part 39 Subpart F. European Aviation Safety Agency requirements in EASA Part M and its associated documents are also relevant to this OTAC.
