The Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order and the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) (Environmental Standards) Order mandate the publication of Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements (OTARs). The OTARs describe the means by which aircraft operators, aviation personnel and service providers can gain approvals, licences and certificates and the requirements they need to meet to maintain them. In some instances they also form Instructions given under powers under the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order. The OTARs ensures adequate levels of safety and internationally agreed standards are met.
Unless stated otherwise in the text of the OTAR, a new issue of an OTAR Part supersedes the previous issue and becomes effective on the date of publication on this website.
The following is a complete list of the OTAR Parts. To find out more or to download the document please click on the OTAR title.
