GENERAL

Overseas Territories Aviation Circulars are issued to provide advice, guidance and information on standards, practices and procedures necessary to support Overseas Territory Aviation Requirements. They are not in themselves law but may amplify a provision of the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order or provide practical guidance on meeting a requirement contained in the Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements.

PURPOSE

This OTAC gives guidance on Dangerous Goods for shipment by air. It also contains guidance on the carriage of munitions of war and sporting weapons.

RELATED REQUIREMENTS

This Circular relates to OTAR Parts 91, 92,121,125, 135, 178, 179 and 180.

CHANGE INFORMATION

This third issue aligns with the Technical Instructions, the AN(OT)O and OTAR 92. It further describes the entities covered by the requirements, operators’ safety management systems, data logging, production of printed records (by operators and shippers), training and assessment records and occurrence reporting. There are also minor format and text changes.
